In the background.....

at Cranberry Crafts is An. We have been friends for years, since I moved up the coast in 1990 and she attended one of my adult education classes. I cannot run my business without her, she comes on in to sew our samples in her spare time, and we often have to prise her off the sewing machine at closing time. An gets so engrossed and excited about starting, sewing and finishing a new quilt. Not much into glue, but I can quite agree on that point.  In the past 2 months we have had to recreate to quilts already hanging in the shop, a make about 4 times bigger, here is An and myself with the end results.
And here are both quilts in our workroom.

The hexagon quilt is made using 2 1/2" strips and was stitched and quilted by Ineke Moeys because we didn't have the time. Such an easy pattern and so effective.
